SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A shots fired incident Thursday leads to a chase, accident, and 4 arrested in Sioux Falls.
Police say an officer attempted to stop a pickup, police believed was involved in a shots fired incident Thursday.
The pickup took off, struck a car driven by an 18 year old Harrisburg woman.
Police did end up arresting 28 year old Aubrey Heck, she is charged with possession of a controlled substance, abuse or cruelty to a minor, aggravated eluding, hit and run. Heck also had warrants.
The passenger 20 year old Mathew Dean was arrested on possession of a controlled substance and warrants.
45 year old Kunta Miles was also arrested he has warrants for his arrest.
26 year old Olivia LaPointe from Vermillion was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance and abuse or cruelty to a minor.
Police say both Heck and LaPointe were charged with the abuse or cruelty to a minor charge because there was a 5 year old girl and 1 year old boy in the vehicle.
