GARRETSON, S.D. (KELO.com) — One child is dead after a rollover crash north of Garretson.
The Minnehaha County sheriff’s office reported a UTV rolled over at 485th Ave and 247th street.
EMS personnel arrive at the scene and attempted life saving efforts, but the victim, an 11-year-old, died at the scene.
Additionally, one dog also perished in the crash.
The Sheriff’s office was assisted by the Garretson fire Department and EMS personnel.
The crash is still under investigation.
