SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The city of Sioux Falls is bringing Project KEEP to one north-central neighborhood, starting next Friday.
Project KEEP allows residents and renters to set household trash and debris along their curb for city workers to haul to the dump.
The city says that the project is aimed at improving the health and safety of the community, while also lowering the number of nuisance calls.
This year’s clean-up zone is located between Minnesota and West Avenues from Russell to 6th Street.
Items allowed include tires, mattresses, yard waste, appliances (doors must be removed), glass, and general household waste.
Items not allowed include raw household garbage, hazardous waste such as paint, animal waste, and vehicles.
Items can be placed curbside starting Friday, April 22.
Crews will begin collecting trash the following Monday, April 25.
