SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says we can look forward to great weather this weekend:
Showers with a few thunderstorms will be most prevalent today from the James River valley westward, with lesser coverage heading east toward the I-29 corridor.
With an expected slow movement, some heavier rainfall amounts on the order of one-half to three-quarters of an inch will be possible from the James valley westward, with much lesser amounts to the east.
Gradually, the focus for later afternoon and evening precipitation will collapse back to the west to near and west of the James River before ending later this evening.
Temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Thursday.
The weekend looks splendid as precipitation chances are removed in favor of more sunshine.
It will remain somewhat humid, especially on Sunday as temperatures warm back to around normal.
