SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – It could be a stormy night around the area.
A Flood Watch is in effect from 10 p.m. Friday night into Saturday morning. Much of eastern South Dakota, along with parts of southwest Minnesota are in the Watch. The National Weather Service says one to three inches of rain could fall in the affected areas.
Along with the heavy rain, some severe weather has been reported along the Missouri River. Much of the activity is moving to the east and southeast. Winds gusting to 70 mph have been reported with some of the storms.
