SIOUX FALLS, SD, (KELO.com)–The woman who hit and killed her boyfriend with her car is sentenced to ten years in prison.
44-year-old Jayme Kae Knudson hit her boyfriend, 46-year-old Erik Lunstra, with her car in September of 2018 and then went and bought herself a slushy.
Second Circuit Court Judge Susan Sabers says that she is ‘troubled’ at Knudson’s lack of empathy and remorse.
Knudson is charged with second-degree manslaughter and ingestion of a controlled substance.
