SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police name the man wanted for burglary in three different locations and then hid out in houses this morning when chased.
Kyle Eugene Obermeyer, a 32-year-old man from South Sioux City, was arrested on two counts of burglary, eluding, obstructing, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property and warrants.
Police say Obermeyer was driving a stolen vehicle, stopped, started running from police, then hid in an occupied house.
The homeowner ran outside and said Obermeyer was in her house.
Obermeyer then fled that house and went into an unoccupied house.
Neighbors kept police informed about Obermeyer’s whereabouts.
He was arrested coming out of the second home.

The driver of the stolen vehicle ran into an occupied house while running from officers. The homeowner ran outside and told officers the man went into her house. He then ran out of that house. Neighbors gave updates to the officers where the man went. He entered a second home that was not occupied. He was arrested after coming out of the second home.
