SIOUX FALLS, SD, (KELO.com)– The Sioux Falls School District is looking for 250 substitute teachers for this school year.
At tonight’s school board meeting, Senior Director of Human Resources Becky Dorman says they are advertising the need for those jobs in a new way.
“Something new this year, you might have seen if you’re driving up and down Forty-First Street, or even Cliff Avenue. We’ve got some digital billboards looking for substitute teachers and custodians,” she says.
Dorman says that they need to find these substitute teachers by the end of this fall.
There’s also a new program that awards money to school employees who refer people to those jobs.
Applications for these jobs are on their website.
