The Labor Day weekend will start off cool across the area with a chance of showers beginning this afternoon and continuing into Saturday morning.
Rainfall is expected to be light with most locations receiving less than a quarter of an inch.
The last half of the weekend will be partly cloudy and warmer.
On Labor Day, high temperatures may approach 90 degrees.
