SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls Labor Day forecast:
The holiday weekend will close on an active note, with a couple of rounds of thunderstorms possible through tonight.
The first will impact southwest parts of the region this morning into the early afternoon. Isolated large hail and locally heavy rain will be the primary threats.
Another round may impact northeast parts of the region this evening into the overnight hours. If storms develop into southwest Minnesota, damaging winds would be the primary threat.
If you have outdoor plans on this Labor Day holiday, be sure you have a way to receive warnings and know where you can find a sturdy shelter, if needed.
