SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A woman from Colombia says she got bad U.S. money when she exchanged her Colombian pesos for American dollars.
The police say she was deliberately passing fake $100 bills.
Sioux Falls Police accuse Sandra Eugenia del Pilar Billegas-Castano, 50, of trying to pass funny money at a gas station and a Walgreens Sunday afternoon.
Police found 10 fake $100 bills in her clothing and another 16 in her car.
She’s charged with two counts of possession of forged instruments.
