SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
Continued warm and dry conditions are expected today with breezy south winds gusting up to 40 mph. Scattered thunderstorms are expected late tonight.
A few storms could become strong to severe with hail up to quarter-sized, strong winds up to 60 mph and locally heavy rain.
Scattered thunderstorms will develop late tonight.
An isolated storm or two could become strong to severe with large hail and winds up to 60 mph as the main risks.
In addition, locally heavy rainfall will be possible, mainly east of I-29 into early Wednesday morning.
