SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Street Closure – West Sixth Street
Beginning on Friday, September 20, 2019, West Sixth Street between Grange Avenue and Prairie Avenue will be closed. Westbound Sixth Street traffic will be detoured via West Fifth Street. Eastbound Sixth Street traffic will be detoured via West Seventh Street. There will be no parking on West Sixth Street within the construction zone.
Construction crews will be repairing damaged curb and gutter and concrete pavement. The concrete pavement joints will also be re-sealed.
This work is anticipated to be completed early October 2019.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
