SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
Thunderstorms are expected to form over the western and central Dakotas by late this afternoon and evening and move eastward after dark.
Some of the storms near and west of the Missouri River may be strong to severe, along with having the potential to produce heavy rainfall.
Storms are expected to decrease in intensity as they move eastward with a decreasing risk of severe weather and excessive rain.
