SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Looks like Sioux Falls multi-year building boom is slowing down.
City officials report that building permits for the first three quarters of this year are down nearly $100 million from the same period last year.
Both 2017 and 2018 were record years for building construction in Sioux Falls.
It’s looking tougher and tougher for the city to reach still another record in 2019.
The biggest slowdown has been in commercial building permits.
