SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Beginning Monday, November 4, 2019, the Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill will begin operating under winter hours. Winter hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The Landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day during the winter season.
All loads must be tarped or in an enclosed vehicle. A $25 fee will be charged for loads arriving that are not properly tarped or secured. Landfill users are urged to use caution at all times and follow the posted Landfill rules.
