SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Thursday night friends and family held a candlelight vigil honoring two boys involved in a deadly car crash along Interstate 229. The crash killed 15-year-old Barry Grieve and seriously hurt 16-year-old Mhiretab (Tab) Tsagaye. Both of them were freshman at Lincoln High School.
Thursday’s candlelight vigil was not only honoring Barry, but also showing continued support for Mhiretab. Tab is in critical condition. A GoFundMe Page has been established for both boys.
Students from every high school in Sioux Falls huddled together, along with children and adults, on the South Dakota Junior Football Fields to remember Grieve and to pray for Tsegaye’s recovery.
