SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
A series of weather disturbances will impact the region today.
A band of freezing rain will develop along the Missouri River Valley- and spread east into western Iowa.
The freezing rain will result in a light glaze of ice, totaling less than a tenth of an inch.
A second band of precipitation, mainly in form of snow, will impact areas north of I-90.
Snow amounts are expected to be less than half an inch in any particular location.
