SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Fire units responded to a reported structure fire at 208 S Capitol Ave at approximately 2:10 a.m. Saturday. A neighbor noticed flames on the exterior of the attached garage and notified the residents, who were able to safely evacuate the home.
Upon arrival, fire crews extinguished the fire within the first 10 minutes. The fire damaged a wall of the garage and a car in the driveway. There was no fire or smoke damage to the living space and the residents were able to remain in their home. There were no injuries to the residents or responders on the scene, the fire is under investigation.
