SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Highlights from today’s Sioux Falls Police briefing.
- DRUNK MAN SHOOTS AND MISSES HIMSELF
A drunk man in a downtown parking ramp in Sioux Falls is lucky.
Bismark Alex Roberts, 24, from Sioux Falls, accidentally discharged a pistol after getting it out of his pocket.
Police were nearby and heard the shot.
Roberts had a blood alcohol level of point-2-5.
He’s charged with public drunkenness and negligent discharge of a firearm.
- SIX FIREARM CASINGS FOUND
Police didn’t hear the gunshots over the weekend at 14th and Dakota.
But they did find six bullet casings.
They’re investigating.
- JUMPED FOR HIS CLOTHES
Police are looking for three Native American men and one Native American woman who a victim says jumped him and took his bag of clothes.
The victims says the crew kicked and punched him.
The incident took place in the 10th and Franklin area.
