SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service is hosting their first weather spotter training class of the year tonight in Marshall, Minnesota.
The classes will show citizens how to properly record and report rainfall totals, hail size, wind speeds, and storm damage.
No registration is required.
The National Weather Service will also be holding upcoming training sessions in Yankton on March 24, and in Sioux Falls on April 19.
Tonight’s class will be held at 7 p.m. at the City Government Building in Marshall.
