SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Here are the highlights of today’s Sioux Falls Police briefing.
- MAN WITH A GUN AND A FEMALE FRIEND ROB A RENTER
Sioux Falls Police are searching for a man and a woman who robbed an apartment resident at gunpoint.
It happened in the 1000 block of South Duluth Avenue.
A woman came to the door and went into the apartment.
She seemed to be looking for someone.
Then a black man in dreadlocks came to the door with a gun.
He asked the resident for money.
The guy didn’t have any but the suspect took his wallet.
The bad guy then hit the renter in the head with his gun.
The man and woman then left in a black SUV.
The resident had a cut to his head but was not seriously hurt.

Sioux Falls Police say two Hyvee employees say a man pulled a gun on them at the 10th and Kiwanis store.
The incident happened at about 6 p.m. yesterday outside the supermarket.
Soon after the incident, police arrested Shane Dean Spotted War Bonnet II, 24, from Sioux Falls.
The two Hyvee employees were unharmed.
