NWS advisories and warnings map, 3/4/22.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Much of the KELO Radio listening area is under a National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory from Saturday morning through Saturday night.
The NWS says to expect one to three inches of snow and 2/10ths of an inch of ice. All of that will be pushed by winds gusting to 35 mph.
They say expect slippery roads and poor visibility.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM SATURDAY TO MIDNIGHT CST SATURDAY NIGHT…
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, south central and southeast South Dakota. This includes the tribal lands of the Yankton Sioux Tribal Nation.
* WHEN…From 6 AM Saturday to midnight CST Saturday night.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
