SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — With temperatures falling into the single digits and teens today, along with northwesterly winds of 20 to 35 mph, wind chills will drop to 5 below to 15 below zero.
The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says light snow will be ending across the area by early to mid-morning, with total accumulation of 1 to 2 inches.
Temperatures will fall into the single digits and teens by afternoon, and it will be windy with wind chills of -5 to -15 during the day.
Very cold temperatures will linger through Tuesday and Wednesday, with some moderation by the end of the week.
