SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls Salvation Army needs your help to make a merry Christmas for some needy kids.
Major Marlys Anderson says their deadline is quickly approaching.
“We are really short on toys for our distribution 19th and 20th (of December) for our distribution of toys,” she said in a voicemail to KELO.com News.
Specifically, the “Angel Tree” toy drive is back, and is said to be serving about 2,000 children this year. So far they’ve only received about 25% of the donations from this time last year.
If you want to help you can drop your toy off at any donation site, The Angel Tree located at The Sioux Empire Mall, or the Salvation Army itself.
To help in other ways, go to sasiouxfalls.org or call (605) 338-6649 to make a donation or assist in the toy drive.
