SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man found out that pulling a gun on a person putting trash in a dumpster is not a good idea.
Todd Shawn Trent, 56, from Sioux Falls, yelled at then pointed a gun a fellow apartment dweller who drove up to their dumpster and put trash in it.
The incident occured about 4:30 p.m. Friday at an apartment in the 6000 block of South Cliff Avenue.
Police say Trent came down from his third floor apartment balcony then confronted the guy in the car and said he was going to shoot him.
Trent is charged with one count of aggravated assault.
The victim, 48, from Sioux Falls, was not harmed.
