SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls woman is behind bars after shooting her boyfriend in the arm early Thursday morning.
Kayla Marie Chase, 31, is charged with aggravated assault domestic, reckless discharge of a firearm, and imprisonment.
Sioux Falls Police say she and her 32-year-old boyfriend from Sioux Falls got into an argument in a residence in the 1000 block of East First Street.
As he tried to leave, she pulled out a handgun and shot him in the arm.
Neighbors heard the gunshot. The victim ran out the door.
The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
