SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — From the files of the Sioux Falls Police squad at today’s briefing.
- MORE STOLEN CARS
Sioux Falls Police say 5 more cars were stolen yesterday (Thursday).
That brings the total to 25 since last Friday.
Police say two of the latest cars had their keys in them and were running.
Sgt. Rob Forster says to either remain in your car while it is warming or get out, take the keys, and lock it.
- GROUP FIGHTS, ONE WOMAN ARRESTED
A Sioux Falls woman is in jail after being arrested for brandishing a knife at a disturbance last night near 7th and Spring.
Duwanda Annette Morris faces aggravated assault charges.
Police say a couple of groups of people in cars got out and started fighting.
Authorities and witnesses allege Morris pulled a knife during the dust-up.
No one was hurt.
- CONSTRUCTION SITES HIT.
Police say thieves stole tools from two construction sites in the City.
One site was on the east side of town, the other on the southwest side.
The police are investigating.
