SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — With a snowstorm approaching Sioux Falls, authorities are cautioning drivers who could be in for a dangerous morning commute.
The National Weather Service says when snow hits Sioux Falls at about 6 a.m. conditions will “deteriorate rapidly” on area roads, with near white-out conditions possible.
Heavy snowfall rates 1+in/hr possible Friday morning.
The NWS says drivers should slow down, let others know where they’re headed, keep their headlights on, and pull over if visibility gets worse.
