SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls City Council will have the second and final reading Tuesday evening of an ordinance that would give city employees a $2,000 retention bonus.
At the meeting where the first reading was passed last month, some city counselors expressed concern if retention was actually a problem.
The Mayor and other councilors say they want the city to stay competitive in keeping and recruiting staff.
The Council meets at 6 p.m. in the Carnegie Town Hall.
