SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Two people have been arrested after a stolen truck incident Wednesday night.
A late-night robbery Wednesday injured one person and caused a police chase in Sioux Falls.
According to the Sioux Falls Police, Benjamin Wayne Swalley, 34, of Sioux Falls was arrested on several charges tied to the incident: first-degree robbery, six counts of aggravated assault against law enforcement, aggravated assault, possession of controlled substance, aggravated eluding, grand theft of a vehicle, reckless driving, resisting arrest, obstructing police, several drug charges and several traffic violation charges, according to court documents.
Janelle Ruth Nelson, 34, of Sioux Falls, was also arrested in connection with the incident on a possession of a controlled substance charge.
Police are looking for two more in connection with the robbery.
Sioux Falls police responded to the incident at about 11:30 p.m. to the area of West 33rd Street and South Duluth Avenue, after an 18-year-old Sioux Falls man reported having his truck stolen and being hit over the head with a handgun.
