SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian.
Authorities say a 69-year-old Sioux Falls man was trying to cross West 12th Street near South Williams Avenue around 6:50 a.m. this morning.
The police say a 2015 Jeep Cherokee was driving east on West 12th Steet and struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for injuries that were initially considered serious but non-life threatening.
The man died a short time later while in the hospital.
