FLANDREAU, S.D. (KELO.com) — City leaders in Flandreau have money on their minds.
A half a million dollars to be exact.
Now city leaders are trying to figure out what to do with it.
The reserve fund of $520,00 was set aside from projects that weren’t done and the money has to be designated for something.
Jeff Pederson, City Administrator presented a list of ideas to the city council.
The list included giving the downtown area in Flandreau a much-needed upgrade, building a new fire station, giving the city office building some love amongst other things.
No word just yet when the council needs to make a decision on what to do with the funds.
