PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sen Jeff Monroe (R-Dis4 24 Pierre) tells the South Dakota Broadcasters Association he will be live streaming on Facebook from the floor of the Senate questioning the authority of how/why today’s final day of the 95th session is being moved to rooms 413 & 414 at the State Capitol.
He has concerns about ventilation and the necessity of moving off the 3rd floor chambers.
Everyone entering the Capitol Building is being health screened before going through security screening. The standard questions and a forehead temp scan are done and then you walk through to the security screen room. This is the first time this has been done.
There was a similar process at the Emergency Operations Center last week when Governor Noem did her press conference there.
