Typically top-half Northern Sun volleyball teams USF and Augustana are slated in the bottom half in the preseason coaches’ poll for 2019.
The Cougars are slotted at 10th and the Vikings at 11th.
Northern State is the favorite. Minnesota-Duluth, which shared the NSIC regular season title with NSU last year, and Concordia-St. Paul tied for second. Wayne State was fourth in the poll while Southwest Minnesota State was fifth.

Augustana outside hitter Grace Haberland and USF Averey Yaksich were both named to the NSIC preseason players to watch list.
