FARGO, N.D. (Sanford) – Thielen Foundation, founded by Adam and Caitlin Thielen to help those in need achieve their full potential, is making a $25,000 donation to the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center to aid the center in its expansion of its cancer programs and services.
The surrounding Fargo area has always been important to Adam, after growing up in nearby Detroit Lakes. Since its inception in September 2018, Thielen Foundation has been looking for ways to get involved in the local community. The opportunity to partner with Sanford Health, a longtime partner of Adam’s during his NFL career, was a natural fit for Adam and the foundation.
“Being able to give back to the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center is something that Caitlin and I are very grateful to be able to do. Sanford Health has been one of my top partners over the last three seasons and it has been a pleasure to work with everyone on their team during that time. I have been able to see firsthand the huge impact that Sanford Health is making in our Midwest community and the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center will continue to grow that impact even more.” said Adam, Minnesota Viking Wide Receiver and President of Thielen Foundation.
Aside from the donation to the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center, the Thielen Foundation also partnered with CHOICE Bank and Sanford Health this past June to put on a free football camp for over 250 kids at Fargo-Shanley.
