SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — As warmer weather returns to the area tomorrow, with it comes an increased risk of fire danger.
Strong winds combined with dry conditions and warm temperatures will elevate the chances of wildfires to grow and spread rapidly.
The National Weather Service says Sioux Falls and the surrounding area face a very high risk of fire danger.
Avoid using farm equipment that may spark, don’t park your vehicle on dry grass, and be sure to properly dispose of cigarette butts.
