SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Interstate 29 between mile markers 47 and 59 have been reopened to traffic after a temporary closure earlier this morning.
The closure happened after two semi trucks crashed, causing hazardous materials to spill onto the roadway.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation issued a hazardous materials incident warning for a portion of I-29.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of I-29 are reopen to the public.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
