SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — An early morning fire and rescue in Sioux Falls.
At 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a fire at 3300 S. Westbrooke Lane.
One woman and a child were reported trapped on a balcony on the second floor due to smoke and fire conditions.
Fire crews were able to place a ladder and rescue the woman and child from the balcony.
There was one reported minor injury.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
