SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakota officials are investigating whether the state owns a strip of land that runs through the Sioux Steel property in downtown Sioux Falls.
A $185 million redevelopment is planned for the site and the obscure ownership issue could complicate things.
The developer says its research shows the strip of land is not state-owned.
State officials are expected to announce their conclusions in the next few weeks.
