SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Area families can celebrate their moms this year at the annual Mother’s Day Brunch benefitting Edith Sanford Breast Center.
The event will be held on Mother’s Day, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Convention Center at Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls.
While they enjoy their sumptuous meal and listen to live music in a room decorated in bright spring colors,they’ll know they are also helping to raise money for breast cancer patients and survivors, with a portion of the net revenue to be donated to Edith Sanford Breast Center.
The event is presented by The Diamond Room.
Tickets are now on sale for $30 for adults, $26 for seniors 55 and older, and $12 for children ages 4 through 12. Kids 3 and under are free. Additional taxes apply. Only advance ticket sales will be accepted and are available at www.dennysanfordpremiercenter.com.
A special kids area will be set up featuring movies and kid-friendly desserts.
The Mother’s Day Brunch will feature Master Chef-inspired creations served at several buffet tables throughout the convention center’s Midco Ballroom, including Chef Carved Cider Glazed Ham, Chef Carved Top Sirloin, Au gratin Potatoes, Roasted Green Beans, Broccoli Salad, Pearl Sugar Waffles with Chicken Tenders and Jack Daniels Maple Syrup, Egg Station (Fresh made Omelets/Scrambled/Over Easy/Made your way), Bananas Foster French Toast, Bacon & Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, Assorted Homemade Desserts, Mini Cinnamon Rolls, Mini Pastries, Fresh Fruit Display, Condiment Stations with Butters/Jellies/Cream Cheeses/Ketchup/Hot Sauce/Etc, and coffee & juice stations.
A “MOM”-osa Bar and Bloody Mary Bar are also available.The Diamond Room is again donating a grand prize jewelry piece. There will also be door prizes donated by area businesses.
