SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Parker man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
The U.S Attorney for South Dakota says Rollin Lee Dollens, age 52, is an unlawful drug user and addict.
The feds say Dollens possessed a gun while he was in Corson County.
Dollens faces up to ten years in prison.

United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that a Parker, South Dakota, man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.
Rollin Lee Dollens, age 52, was indicted on February 11, 2020. He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge William D. Gerdes on March 2, 2020, and pled not guilty to the Indictment. The maximum penalty upon conviction is 10 years in federal prison and/or a $250,000 fine, 3 years of supervised release, and $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund. Restitution may also be ordered.
The Indictment alleges that on September 16, 2019, Dollens, knowingly being an unlawful user of and addicted to a controlled substance, knowingly possessed a firearm in Corson County, South Dakota. The charge is merely an accusation and Dollens is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The investigation is being conducted by the Northern Plains Safe Trails Drug Enforcement Task Force and the Corson County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Cameron J. Cook is prosecuting the case. Dollens was released on bond pending trial. A trial date has not been set.
