- ALLEGED APARTMENT ARSONIST APPREHENDED
A woman accused of setting fire to a Sioux Falls apartment building sits in jail on arson charges.
Police arrested Alayna Sioux Birdnecklace-Pigney, 25, from Sioux Falls, early this morning (Wednesday) at a convenience store near 11th and Grange.
The authorities also say they found meth in her backpack and she faces drug charges.
- STABBED IN THE ARM WITH A SCREWDRIVER
A Sioux Falls man was stabbed in the arm with a screwdriver by his motel roommate this morning.
The 58 year old victim went to the hospital for a stab wound to the arm but was treated and released.
Andre Gerald Raymond, 46, from Sioux Falls, is in custody on aggravated assault charges.
The incident occurred in the 1500 block of West Russell Street.
