SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Some Sioux Falls Churches have joined forces to offer practical help in response to Covid-19.
“We want to rally churches together to help those who are struggling so we are seeking to start a movement called Corona Help Sioux Falls,” says one of the organizers, Pastor Rich Merkouris, of King of Glory Church.
The effort will seek to deliver food to needy people who can’t leave their homes because of the Coronavirus situation. They also want to make sure that children have access to daily nutrition.
The group has a new website: https://www.coronahelpsf.com/
Mayor Paul TenHaken is praising the effort, calling it neighbors helping neighbors.
