HILL CITY, S.D. (KELO.com) — A shooting in Hill City, South Dakota has multiple people detained the afternoon. The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots fired at 5:30 this morning at a home on Allen Gulch Road. Deputies found blood and numerous spent casings, but the department says it did not appear anyone was shot. Several people involved in a physical fight did have minor injuries. A man believed to be the shooter has been detained.
Additional charges may be pending for other individuals involved as the investigation continues.
