SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — If you are a first responder or health care employee, you have a new option for daytime child care, thanks to The City of Sioux Falls, Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, and Avera, who are collaborating to offer this service during the COVID-19 outbreak.
There is a fee for the service.
There is an online enrollment form to fill out: http://www.bgcsiouxempire.org/ and once in the system, parents can call the new Child Care Cooperative during business hours to schedule child care at 605-338-8061.
The O’Gorman, Dell Rapids, and Tea schools are also providing care for children of health care employees and first responders through their own programs.
