SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The City of Sioux Falls wants to move the April 14 City/School District election to the June primary.
City Clerk Tom Greco says many poll workers are older and are concerned about COVID-19.
He also said they want to comply with maintaining good social distancing.
Greco also said the demand for absentee ballots has been low, despite city officials pushing the option.
However, he also says that if the city can’t move the April election, his office has to keep planning ahead just in case the election cannot be moved.
