SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries last night in a crash.
At 7:27 Monday night, Sioux Falls Police responded to Westport Avenue south of Benson Road for a motorcycle crash.
A 54-year-old male was southbound on Westport Avenue and failed to negotiate a bend in the road, and was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was taken by ambulance to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On March 30, 2020 at 7:27 p.m., the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to Westport Avenue south of Benson Road for a motorcycle crash. A 2015 Indian motorcycle driven by a 54-year-old male was southbound on Westport Ave. The driver failed to negotiate a bend in the road and left the roadway. The driver was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The investigation into the crash is ongoing and more information will be available at the Tuesday morning briefing.
