SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls may adopt new, stronger measures that seem to be working in other similar-sized cities to fight COVID-19.
City Health Director Jill Franken mentions stay-at-home orders or curfews.
“I think that was probably for Tallahassee, the biggest change they made, a curfew, compared to what we are doing already.”
Franken says enhanced measures may be brought to City Council next week, depending on the fluid situation.
Currently, the city has a mandatory limit on customers at bars, restaurants and other businesses. City Council was being asked to extend the restrictions for another two weeks, to April 22.
