SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — If you have to leave the house for supplies you might want to check the COVID-19 policy the store has implemented.
A recent announcement from the corporate office of Menards has backed up what the Sioux Falls mayor has been saying, don’t take your kids on a field trip to the store.
Menards is no longer allowing kids under the age of 16 in the store, the website also states if you look like you are under 16 you will be asked to provide identification.
The company also doesn’t want your animals in the store unless they are service animals.
Target corporate offices also sent out an announcement that lays out how the company plans on protecting the employees and the consumer.
The company says they will actively monitor and when needed, meter guest traffic in its nearly 1,900 stores nationwide to promote social distancing.
They will also be supplying all employees with gloves and face masks.
These actions are on top of what Target is already doing including cleaning more frequently, signage on the floor to encourage social distancing, plexiglass partitions at all registers, contactless order pickup and home delivery.
